This exceptionally soft and inherently stain-resistant fiber is offered in many luxurious styles and colors to fit any motorhome. Unlike nylon fiber, which is naturally stain prone and crude oil dependent, PET repels stains without any added branded chemicals like Stainmaster®, and furthermore, the recycled nature of ClearTouch® and its ability to be produced without the use of petroleum keeps its price down below that of its nylon competitor.
Despite
its already stain-resistant nature, Shaw's choice to add its patented
R2X stain-resistant chemical to the ClearTouch® fiber during production
helps to ensure that your carpet will hold up even better in the face of
food, drink, or dirt driven spills. If that wasn't enough, every
ClearTouch® style is offered with BCF (bulk continuous filament) yarn,
or carpet fiber that maintains its content and twist without the
tendency to break down and fuzz up in high traffic and pivot areas.
As a result, your carpet's twist and texture remains true to the day
it's installed for many years to come.
